Sadly, we have to announce that we have cancelled our Volunteers' Evening, Midsummer Ball and this year's Garden Party due to the current restrictions on social distancing.

We know that our volunteers particularly look forward to the annual volunteers' evening but it is vital that, in these uncertain times, we do everything we can to protect our volunteers, staff, patients and our local community.

From the fundraising events that we have had to cancel so far, we have lost around £60,000 in fundraising income. This is a really considerable amount which would have gone directly towards providing end of life nursing care for our patients.

However, there are loads of great ways you can still support us and we have loads more ideas and virtual events up our sleeves so keep an eye out!

Plus, Volunteers' Week is coming up (1-7 June) so keep an eye out online as we will be saying some very special thank yous.
