Planning a clear out? Please donate your goods to us

Are you planning a winter clear out, about to move house, or maybe you’re looking for some new furniture to give your home a new lease of life in 2019?

Our hospice shops really need your old furniture and, if it’s good enough for us to sell in our shops, our van drivers will even come and collect it from you absolutely free. They will even come and do a whole house clearance where we will remove anything that is good enough to sell.

For us to sell soft furnishings, such as sofas, mattresses or upholstered items, they must have a fire label sewn which meets the British Standards Specification for Fire Safety. Also, please make sure they are in a good, clean condition with no rips, tears or stains.

We have two hospice furniture shops, in Warbreck and Kensington, and we need to keep them fully stocked up so if you, or someone you know, has some furniture to get rid of, please give us a call.

We have other charity shops right across Merseyside – in Allerton, Crosby, Formby, Maghull, Netherton, Southport and now on County Road in Liverpool – selling a wide range of goods from jewellery, clothes, toys and books to knick knacks. So please donate anything you can to your local St. Joseph’s Hospice charity shop.

It really does make a huge difference as our shops raise over £100k each year which goes directly towards providing end of life and palliative care for our patients as well as care and support for their families.

If you’d like to arrange a house-clearance or furniture collection, please call us on 0151 525 3072.
