Hospice Midsummer Ball back in 2020

St. Josephs Hospice will host a Midsummer Night Ball on Friday 19th June to mark the 2020 summer solstice.

The hospice’s first Midsummer Ball, in 2019, was an incredible success, raising thousands of pounds for the hospice and securing support from many Merseyside businesses.

The black tie event, which is taking place at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool, will feature live Rock ‘n’ Roll music from Asa Murphy and his band and will be hosted by entertainer and compere, Ronnie Orr. There will also be a raffle and an auction with some incredible prizes.

Zoë Furnivall, hospice fundraiser, said: “The Midsummer Ball is the most formal and stylish event in our fundraising calendar and it’ll be a fantastic way to mark the 2020 summer solstice.

“Tickets are available to everyone who would like to support the hospice but we are particularly asking Merseyside businesses to pledge their support and buy a table at the Ball. And they won’t be disappointed because we promise to put on a fantastic evening.

“All the money raised at the Midsummer Ball will go directly to providing end of life care to our patients and support for their families. We have to raise £3m every year to fund this care which is so greatly valued by our community.”

Tickets to the Midsummer Night Ball cost just £65 per person and include live entertainment, a welcome drink plus a delicious three-course meal.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses who would like to support the hospice and feature in all the event publicity.
