Blues and Reds come together for hospice fundraiser

Footballing legends, Kevin Ratcliffe, for the Blues, and Roy Evans, for the Reds, will bring fans together on Friday 11th May for a special Sportsman’s Dinner in aid of St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Comedian Mark Langley will compere the night at The Bentley in Liverpool - a brand new event space in the heart of the city with stunning views of The Three Graces along Liverpool’s world famous waterfront.

The Sportsman’s Dinner, which has been generously sponsored by B&M Supplies in Southport, will begin with a welcome drink on arrival followed by a delicious three-course meal before we hear from Kevin and Roy about their years on the pitch.

Laura Smith, community fundraiser at the hospice, said: “Our Sportsman’s Dinner promises to be an excellent night of sporting entertainment and fundraising for the hospice. Our nurses and carers look after over 200 patients from across Merseyside every year and events like this make a huge difference to the care and support we can provide.

“The sponsorship of events, such as this, is incredibly important as it reduces our costs and means that more of the money we raise goes directly to caring for our patients. That is why we are delighted that B&M Supplies has chosen to be our main event sponsor and we are very grateful to them for getting involved and supporting the hospice.”

Tickets cost £40 and are available to book by calling the hospice’s fundraising team on 0151 932 6044 or by emailing events@jospice.org.uk.
