A ‘Ginspired' summer fundraiser

For all the gin lovers out there, the beautiful woodland gardens at St. Joseph’s Hospice, in Thornton, will set the scene for a special evening of gin on Friday 12th July, from 7-9pm.

The fabulous Ginception Bar will be the star attraction with its impressive range of gins from across the world. The mobile bar is a converted horse trailer which has been lovingly restored and now offers luxurious award-winning gins paired with perfectly selected mixers and garnishes. The hospice is also putting on some live entertainment during the evening.

The Ginception Bar was created by three friends from Burnley who came up with the innovative idea of converting a horse trailer and transforming it in to a mobile gin bar and making it available for events up and down the country. They also serve gin cocktails using award-winning gins proudly sourced from across the North-West.

Norma Young, head of fundraising for the hospice, said: “We’re very exciting to host our first Gin Evening in our beautiful gardens. It’ll be the perfect setting for a lovely evening and a great opportunity to sample some really delicious gins.

“What’s even better is that the hospice will also benefit from this as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to hospice funds so there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t come along and join us for what will be a fantastic summer evening exploring the world of gin.”

Tickets are just £20 and include three free drink tokens, nibbles, live entertainment and one raffle ticket. To book tickets, please call 0151 932 6044 or email events@jospice.org.uk.
